Founded in 1967 by H.E. Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al-Thani, Chairman of Al-Faisal Holding as Gettco Travel until the year 2006. In 2006 Aamal Holding Group was launched as a new holding company Chaired and fully owned also by H.E. Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al-Thani and the commercial name Gettco Travel was changed to Aamal Travel as part of Aamal Holding Group maintaining the same structure, location, staff and even IATA numbere

Accordingly Aamal Travel was among the first agencies to begin operation in Qatar; as an IATA accredited agency (International Air Transport Association), it has access to all international Airlines fares and reservation systems and committed to offering the highest quality of travel services.

In addition, Aamal Travel has built over the years a global network of business partners providing the full range of filtered travel services on ground almost in every country in the world
